Nature has everything you need for your dioramas. You just need to go out and pick it up.

How to make realistic dirt:

Step 1 - get some real dirt 😆

Very helpful tutorial though. Will definitely be using this for a few of my models 👍

There was a road construction site near my place. I went out and got a couple of paint cans full from the fill pile, and ran it through a sieve set bought on Amazon. I've got 4 different sizes from dust up to full gravel "rocks". Ask the guys nicely and your needs will be taken care of for years in one go.

Wow now watched all your videos and have subscribed to your channel because I’m finding it invaluable truly awesome job sir !!! Was nice to hear you to on the last video. I don’t have an awful lot of money for diorama building... well all aspects of modelling really, so using your tips here I can find a lot of bits n bobs around the house/garden so thanks for all the how to tips n tricks. Your diorama from last video is fantastic work and looks real not toy like at all, I have two large dioramas to build and your tips are ALL going to be extremely useful for me !!! Thanks for making your channel and sharing your ideas it’s extremely kind of you so thanks again. Wishing you every success with your channel, Kenny 😃🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Love the style of this video! Big close ups that allow us to really see what you are doing, contemporary styling with the editing transitions keeps it current and a great ambient sound track to tie it all together. Have subscribed because the quality is consistently high. The only thing I would say is some of the text could be onscreen for just a beat longer and I might add slight darkening to keep legibility when white text goes over a light background but this is a tiny gripe. Excellent product beautifully presented. Keep up the great work!

does this work for wet mud? e.g ww1 battlefields, when this dries (assuming I don't add the extra stuff and only use the paste) will it look like dirt or like mud? thank you.

Great video! Just suscribed. There's no need to bake the dirt in the oven or something like that prior to use it in order to kill any bugs that might be present?

I'm new to all of this kinda stuff and I was wondering, would you have to seal this over with watered down glue, or would the PVA mixed into the dirt be enough?

for the dirt to PVA glue ratio i suggest 152:228 rather than 40:60

Very nice ! Just a question . 60% glue or 60% dirt?

Do you think, I could use just regular glue instead of the PVA glue?
