If you think about it, maybe magneto wanted him to die... eventually. To my understanding (I've not read every comic nor seen every movie), the adamantium is what slowly poisons him and causes his aging and eventual death

if the adamantium can heal with the rest of his body if you notice at the end of the wolverine movie you will notice that yes Wolverine had bone claws but did you notice magneto stops his movements so I don’t know if this means anything but that means he still had adamantium which means if the adamantium can heal with the rest of the body then I wonder how he got his claws fyi common sense

Yeah but at the end of the movie they changed the timeline, so technically in the new timeline. Magneto wouldn’t have done it, so how does he still get them back prior to the events of Logan?
