I remember seeing this in 1977. I have not seen it since. Thank you for posting this! Lots of memories. I shed a tear or two, even.

This made my day. Just when you think you’ve seen everything about the making of this classic, it just keeps on giving ❤

That is the best looking I have ever seen Carrie Fisher during her civilian clothes. Absolutely beautiful in those shots!

Incredible vision. Not many people can translate their ideas on to the big screen.

45 years has passed since....
Nostalgia?

I love seeing the original shots and scenes. Whenever they air Star Wars on TV, there's a lot of effects and creatures digitally added to the 1977 version, which kind of ruins it

I know they showed bits of this when they first showed Star Wars on network television, which was CBS in February 1984, but this is the first time I've seen the whole thing

I down think any kid today could ever understand the magnitude of what Star Wars did to people back then. ESPECIALLY if you were a young child in the ten year old range. it was life changing. There was no way to participate after the film. No Netflix or VCR's. If you wanted to catch a glimpse of Vader you had to buy a copy of "Fangoria" or maybe read a newspaper article. Wasnt until the merchandise came out that you had any contact with the films characters again..

I'm surprised there aren't any more comments o.o
Such a nice little documentary, hadn't seen it before, thank you so much for sharing.
Ps. Them asking whether Leia will end up with Han or Luke, almost made me throw up a little teehee.

Wow that Flash Gordon episode is so incredibly goofy looking..The costumes especially ..they were worse than the kids costumes you'd get at the dime store..if you're too young to know what that means.. it's like Kmart or Walgreens, but ours was called Ben Franklin..open in 1926..they went bankrupt in '96 but there are still 209 stores using that old school name..but now it's known as an arts & crafts store..So weird..

I always wondered why she was speaking with an English accent, not that well really, and some parts of the movie and then she would drop the English accent…Like she couldn't remember what she wanted to use.. did they want her to use an English accent instead? Or is that just some thing she chose to do on her own?
