Soil salinization is the process of salt building up in soil over time. Water evaporates, and salt is left behind in the soil. Hey Mr. Smedes! I’ve read from my textbook and from some online sources that flood irrigation is the least efficient type, but you’re saying that furrow irrigation is the least efficient.
