A) Student 5 is the most likely to live in a wealthy developed country because they have the highest emissions in every category. (For example, the total amount for the other students ranged from 7.7-9.2, while student 5’s total was 15.8) Wealthier countries typically take up the most resources, and the amount of resources used contributes to your ecological footprint.
B) a person’s ecological footprint includes the production and distribution of food. A higher food footprint indicates that the environment where the food was produced is currently able to tolerate a high amount of food being produced. This means that the environment is not totally depleted or harmed and it can support plants and animals being grown and raised. For example, if soil is too unhealthy, eroded, or compacted it cannot support plants (that turn into food) to be grown

Student 5 is most likely from a developed country, this is because more affluent countries tend to use more resources. An increase in Carbon emissions indicates a faster rate of global warming, this rate of increase in temperature can be faster than the rate at which ecosystems adapt, leading to a higher extinction rate, which causes loss of biodiversity.
