Hey Pat, you are The Man. I quit dealing with contractors a long time ago because of the high prices and low competence. I'm seriously going to give this a try when funds permit.

This is a great series.  I like your videos the way they are, but you could really get poeple hooked if you did more editing

Great video. What are the brackets called you use to mount the slide to the back of the cabinet. ( I may have missed it, sorry)

Do you finish the inside of the cabinet that is not the prefinished maple?

Do you install the slides exactly level or give a slight slope rearward? The reason I ask is that I have been in some older houses where the floor has sagged and the walls are not exactly plum and I see drawers that tend to wander open a bit. I have seen the same with cabinet doors not wanting to stay shut all the way. I am purchasing an older house and will end up remodeling the kitchen and would like to know from your experience if this is something I should be concerned with.

Ok. The brackets
use to be two metal part. Right? The larger to be use on the back of the slider
and the small part on the front of it. Why don’t you used the small part?
One more thing, the brackets and the screws are sold separately or it comes within the
package of the hardware slides?
Thank you Sr.

Why not use 4 longer spacer blocks, the length of the inside of the cabinet. The slides could be installed outside the cabinet very easily and accurately, then screwed in place either on the sides or one on the back and the other at the back of the face frame. Attaching to the back and front would be easier when working with smaller cabinets but both ways would save money by avoiding the need for brackets. Hope I didn't miss something.
