Richard Allen Delphi Murder Update and More Charges

Richard Allen gets more murder charges as the Indiana Supreme Court decides whether to give him his two attorneys back. Who killed Abby and Libby? Did Judge Gull step out of line? Allen alleges the trial court exceeded its jurisdiction by disqualifying his attorneys over his objection. Allen has asked the Indiana Supreme Court to issue a writ reinstating his previous attorneys, setting trial within seventy days, and appointing a new special judge to hear the case. The respondent court and the Attorney General have filed responses opposing the request for writ, and the Supreme Court is hearing oral argument on the petition.

My thoughts are, the judge is biased and nefarious and should not try this case. She will make this case a nightmare with "subtle" retribution. Kudos to the court for restoring Allans council of choice, however IMO they did not go far enough. They should have removed the judge. SHE IS OBVIOUSLY BIASED AND ARROGANT and will undoubtedly do what she can to mess with the defendant's attorneys.

Judge Gull ruled from the bench using her personal opinions. That IS NOT what a judge should be doing! Richard Allen will be proven innocent or guilty by a jury of 12, not by a judge and prosecutor of 2. If this judge is triggered so easily, she has no business on this high profile case presiding with bias. The supreme court has spoken, and judge Gull got it wrong, not Baldwin & Rossi. Justice for Abby & Libby.

My thoughts is if Gull doesnt step down it leads to a huge likelyhood of an appeal being successful because she will likely be prejudiced by the loss she took before the supreme court.

I don’t care what other so called experts say about gun cartridge markings, I’m a gunsmith and did my own tests on new cartridges on two of the same make and model of weapons and the markings looked pretty similar on both cartridges from two separate weapons of the same make (under microscope). I don’t believe it’s an exact science.

I did watch the SCOIN yesterday and have kept current with the Delphi double homicides since the night Libby and Abby went missing in February of 2017. Rather than looking at this as a "win" for either defense or prosecution, I see this as a win for jurisprudence, the law, and how it is decided properly. It was clear from the video record taken the day Judge Gull met with Baldwin and Rozzi in chambers and they "withdrew from the case, " crystal clear, that she had decided their fate prior to that meeting and was prepared to give them a public shaming, dressing down and dismissal no matter what. She did not follow proper procedure in the least and "fairness" was not an option. It seemed very apparent to me that she had communicated with Prosecutor McLeland however and he arrived at court that morning with an army of Law Enforcement witnesses for the prosecution who marched in and filled the jurors box while Baldwin and Rozzi were receiving their non-option sentencing. Also, Gull had sent Richard Allen back to jail. So she was going to do what she was going to do no matter what. She had formulated "findings, " on her own with no hearing, and the law was not followed. This is more like tyranny rather than jurisprudence or due process. Thank goodness the Supreme Court of Indiana decided to reinstate Baldwin and Rozzi. Now hopefully the law will be followed. There may or may not be a hearing regarding what had incensed Judge Gull. In my humble opinion, nearly everyone who uses internet mail has mistakenly sent an email to an errant receiver. This happens so easily and it is unlikely there was any major impact resulting in this case. As for the photos, Baldwin's friend and previous employee went into the conference room and took photos surreptitiously, uninvited, and signed papers saying so. Photographs and statements regarding the crime scene have been circulating since the crime scene was located in 2017, six years prior to the event in Baldwin's office. So the reinstatement was the proper thing to do. As for McLeland posting the requested changes to Rick Allen's charges half an hour before the SCOIN met yesterday, that could have been done any time the past several months or years. It gives the appearance that the Prosecutor's office wanted some news time and attention as well. Unfortunately it doesn't make one think he was diligently working on the case. Does this mean they are not looking for additional perpetrators, which was why he wanted things kept private to begin with? Whatever, Liberty German, Abigail Williams and their families deserve so much better than this. They deserve every modicum of justice and diligence that can be had after their two young lives and futures were so maliciously and savagely torn away from them forever.

I am nearly always on the side of the prosecution, but in this case, the judge disgusted me!! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m glad the court overturned this decision.
