Dynamic Microphones like the Shure SM7B and the Electro Voice RE20 are very gain hungry mics,
They often need a mic booster or activator to help increase the output signal so they don't have a ton of hiss n static in their audio quality.
and that's where the Tonor TA20 comes in.. its a budget alternative to other mic activators/preamps and does just as good of a job at increasing your output volume...

You have an sm7b and a go xlr, but can’t get decent levels without a booster? You don’t need a booster for the sm7b if you use the go xlr, and if you think you do, then check your settings. All you are usually doing if you add a booster like a cloud lifter is adding more noise to the chain. The Go XLR has decent pre amps which are quiet. A few people have told me to get a cloud lifter, so recently after owning this mic and the go xlr for years, I decided to just to prove them wrong. When the gain is adjusted to +50 for dynamic mic, and +25 for condenser mic, you get more noise floor on the condenser setting which is actually just phantom power. When I go to the ua volt, which I record with, I get a raised noise floor. I also get a raised noise floor on every other audio interface I try with a cloud lifter. If you have a cheap audio interface or something a lot older, then you may need one, but for the last decade with decent equipment advice on cloud lifter or any similar device is snake oil.

low sensitivity/output, not "gain hungry".
