Finally started playing as a hacker after reaching lvl 120 and trying to figure out my Netgear router configuration page ( really want to understand networking) while simultaneously practicing my typing skills. This does allow you to multitask unlike playing a regular match.
Hope to see them add something to this with the DLC releases.

I do 15k to 22k points a map on Conquest Large. It's easy to rule the board and be a "top fragger" xD. I started playing as a hacker with rank 20. One day of understanding what's this all about and next day I had rank 93 :D

In the gameplay of Heist, you can earn up to 2500 points in one match. That's generally right behind the leaders on either side and done with no kills or stopping or acquiring the package, whichever side you are on. Per 15min in Heist games, my least amount of points are 1800 and every 10 levels of hacker gives you a bag of goodies via vouchers. So you could level up and make good points to help your team, the opposite suggestion of the observation at the end that a good hacker cannot get good points doing this.

Why don't people play hacker mode as often? It's freaking awesome. Have you ever killed an enemy without pumping them full of bullets? It feels great.

I liked this game so far. Its fun. Hotwire is boring on Dust Bowl map, but i like it in Downtown. And the fact that heavy guns, RPGs etc. are scattered throughout the map is the best thing to even out contest. Might get boring after sometime, but is surely fun.

They need to bring back the commander mode or the Hacker mode in Battlefield 6. Hell, maybe they should bring back both and call it Commander/Hacker 2.0 mode! Think about it. With the advancement of technology in battlefield 6, there is a better opportunity for new gameplay elements.

The Commander would direct the overall team and provide technical support. Examples: He would decrease reload times, increase fire rate, increase vehicle speed, place points of interest, and stuff like that. Unlike Battlefield 4, where the commander oversaw the battlefield, he would be an on-ground operator. It would be more on the physical side of things and be more offensive.

The Hacker would still have an overview of the battlefield. But now, he could take control of turrets or drones to help support players. The hacker would have a few new abilities. Some ideas for new Abilities would include "Denial of Service (DOS), " which would require the enemy hacker to complete a quick-time event or a puzzle to avoid being temporarily locked out. "Power Surge" would work like the GPS jammer but would also work like an EMP to alter the battlefield or knock out any technology. The hacker would also have a collection of viruses at their disposal to hijack, jam, or alter enemy technology.

But here's the kicker; The commander and hacker would have to work together if they wanted to secure the win. The Commander could be required to upload something from a thumb drive to a piece of technology, allowing the hacker to hijack/reenforce them. Maybe the hacker would be required to hijack certain tech before the commander and other players could take control of a point.

I have a few other ideas if anyone wants to hear them.

Ive been a hacker and gotten on top of the leaderboard. I got around 1800 points. If you use all your abilities and co ordinate with your teamm you get to rack up big points.

Plays like shit though on consoles. Too finicky with the thumb sticks especially at the lower resolution

Hacker mode it's cool and all but the only thing that sucks is when you try and go back on the battlefield and when you do that sometimes it will tell you its full you want to join your enemies team basically I did all that work for nothing hacking for my teammates and then ending up with the enemies team

i played as a hacker in conquest large and gained 15k points, the closest one to me had around 8k :D 
Whenever I play as a hacker, I am on top of the list. And I think conquest is better for that not heist.

i personally love hacking because im pretty good at it. its pretty awesome to show your team where the enemy is or jam the enemies equipment.

Helicopters rape in the hotwire game mode, and based on the beta there are NO classes with rocket launchers. Im not impressed thus far. I think I'll stick to BF4 and wait for several reviews before considering putting money towards this game.
