In this EPANET tutorial, we are going to learn how to perform hydraulic modeling for a LOOPED WATER SUPPLY NETWORK using EPANET Software!

EPANET is one of the best hydraulic modeling software especially when it comes to designing water supply projects and as Civil/ Water Supply engineers having at least a basic knowledge on how to use EPANET Software is very important!

This video was originally recorded by @isaac wait and I thought there are a few things I could add! And that being said, we are going to cover:

1. How to model a water supply network.
2. How to optimize a water network model.
3. How to How to check network sustainability/reliability using extended period simulation.

Basically, we will cover all basic principles on how to model a water supply network with EPANET Software!

It’s a 30+ minutes tutorial so I really encourage you to watch it until the end!

And if you are interested in GIS or Water Supply related content please subscribe and share with your fellow engineers!

Great video, Sir! It helped me a lot in my college final design project. I have a question, though. How do I distribute the base demand throughout the whole community when I am only given the total demand at that certain location?

Thank you very much for you video, can you explain us how we can add a "fire pipe" in network ? all of time for example, one fire pipe must product 60m3/h with minimum one bar ! Thank's a lot
