EPANET Hydraulic Modeling For Groundwater Submersible Pump | EPANET Tutorial [Using Simple Trick]
Показать описание
In this EPANET pump tutorial, we are going to learn how to perform hydraulic modeling for groundwater/borehole pumps without a pump curve by using EPANET Software in the water supply design work!
As we all know EPANET is one of the best hydraulic modeling software especially when it comes to both gravity water supply design and designing water distribution systems with pumps! So, as Civil/ Water Supply engineers having at least a basic knowledge of how to use EPANET Software is very important!
That being said, I recently created an EPANET pump tutorial on how to model and control pumps using EPANET Software! I tried to cover basic principles on how to model a water supply network pump and how to add a pump in EPEANET and to analyze them.
Let’s say you know the rate at which the well is pumping then an alternate approach is to replace the well – pump combination with a junction assigned a negative demand equal to the pumping rate.
If you are interested in GIS or hydraulic modeling for water distribution systems please subscribe and share with your fellow engineers!
