EPANET is one of the best hydraulic modeling software especially when it comes to designing water supply projects and as Civil/ Water Supply engineers having at least a basic knowledge on how to use EPANET Software is very important!

That being said, I recently created an EPANET tutorial on how to use EPANET Software! And in this short video tutorial, we are going to learn how to design a water supply network with EPANET 2.2!

I tried to cover basic principles on how to model a water supply network with EPANET!

It’s a 30 minutes tutorial so I really encourage you to watch it until the end!

And if you are interested in GIS or Water Supply related content please subscribe and share with your fellow engineers!

How do you come up with the base demands figure to be assigned at the nodes?

Please do a video on how to relate QGIS data to Epanet..Because people will not always want to draw this nodes and pipes when we can use QGIS data...Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your wonderful video. Learnt a lot from it. My question is, how can we play the pipe pressure class instead of changing the pipe dia?

Thank you for the video. May I know how to change decimal point of the result.

Bro can you also explain to us beginners the use of this in a practical sense

While changing the diameter, will it suffice the demand of each household Because diameter is designed using the population of particular area?

Can you please tell me, " when i've set LPS as analyzing data then why distribution point pressure is shown in 0. then how i will be confirm that my distribution pressure is ok?

Thank you for this video. I have a question. I see that you have only assigned demands at the nodes at the end points of the distribution lines. where do you assign demands if you had communities settled along pipes 1, 2, 3 and 4?

I had a question, say we are using 2 tanks (placing one on the right and one on the left), both having the capacity of 300 cubic meters (total 600 m^3), but we want 400 m^3 to go into the top of the system that has multiple nodes(having its own demands) & links, and 200m^3 to go to the bottom of the system which also has multiple nodes(having its own demands) and links, so is there any way to do that, making the tanks equally contribute to the system rather one contributing more than the other?
