Does Laser Tattoo Removal cause Cancer?

There are no studies that statistically show that laser tattoo removals cause cancer. However, that doesn't mean that they don't.
Lasers are high power radiation and they can destroy your skin cells. They can also destroy the nucleus and thus also the DNA.
Even though many tattoo artists say that tattoo removals don't cause cancer, I would still be concerned. And that's absolutely understandable.
But even if laser tattoo removals are safe, they still cause swelling, blistering and hyper-pigmentation.
All of which are a result of modified or damaged skin cells. Why wouldn't laser tattoo removals be able to cause cancer?
