I considered getting a memorial tattoo for my grandparents but I've had several doctors tell me not to go through with it. I have an auto-immune disease and my doctors said a tattoo had a high chance of triggering my auto-immune disease, but I never thought to ask for an explanation as to how it would. I just assumed it was a risk of infection. This explanation makes it very clear how and why tattoo ink could trigger my auto-immune disease.

Easy, get temporary tattoos or get them in areas that will not make your personal life and professional life hard, don't get hand or face tattoos

Everyone is being way, waaayy too paranoid. Stop that, it is going to affect your immune system. If you are getting a tattoo removed, detox your body. Everyone should be doing this tattooed or not. Do you have any idea how much heavy metal may be in the food you eat, your tap water, in the air you breathe in if you live close to a highway, in the makeup you wear, your shampoo, etc, etc. If you get tested for heavy metals, trust me, you WILL test positive, tattooed or not. If you do get sick, there was most likely something already wrong with your health. Take the removal slow. Detox correctly. You will be fine. 💕💕🧚🏻‍♀🧚🏻‍♀

Just got done with my second sesh! It does hurt but it's quick! It's not as horrible as many people describe in my opinion. If you got the tattoo, getting it removes it also tolerable!

Tattoo ink is often made of heavy metals.
I can't think of any biological benefit of heavy metals in the body, due to all the neurological diseases they are often tied to. And yet people go and get all tatted up. Insanity.
