I know Alex said Meredith doesn’t need a person because she’s her own person, but she does. She needs a person and I think her new one should be Bailey. Moments like this prove it. They’re so alike. They’ve shared so many experiences and Bailey’s monologue here is every bit applicable to Meredith as it is to herself, talking about being the last of her class.

Webber has always been Bailey’s person to some extent and now she’s going to need a replacement person. How perfect would it be if these two, who go all the way back to the start, finally become each other’s person?

seriously the show is not as good as it was before, everyone is leaving and the story is becoming more depressing, I mean no one is happy not a single character is happy, there is no long term relationship in this show either they leave or they die, It has to end at some point before it gets worse.

I think for the first time since season one, Meredith is truly alone. Sure she has her kids and sisters and coworkers, but she doesn’t have a best friend or twisted sister or lover to go home to at night. Who is she gonna call when she’s bored now? Who is she gonna binge drink tequila with now? Who is she gonna make inappropriate jokes with now? I think it’s so powerful that the show writers displayed that even if you have everything you ever wanted (three kids and an excellent career), it still feels like nothing when you have no one to high five at the top. Sadly, this happens to a lot of us. Meredith’s multimillion dollar life looks glorious from the outside but she doesn’t have anyone. It’s lonely at the top.

So Bailey, Mer and Jo are all the only ones left from their intern class. There has always been sort of a parrallel between Bailey/Mer and Mer/Jo. Mer and Jo need to lean on eachother for support. Their husband/person just abandoned them.

This series is the best because it is very real. It doesn’t just always have fun and happy moments but it shows life how it is.

I don't know, maybe the fact that he has been working for like 30 years. He was the chief 16 years ago, and they wouldn't have made him chief without atleast 10-15 years of experience.

Drag on the show and milk the cow as long as you want to, but it has turned into garbage.

Everyone goes through this feeling.. I know I did when a group of all my friends went their separate ways. You sit there wondering if you really can go on with yourself by yourself. You had so many good and great times that you just can’t let go but you know it will never be the same and that they are all gone and you can’t help but be happy for them. It’s a sad truth to live but I’ll always love them and hope they stay happy.
