Hey y'all!

📺 In this video, we go over setting up a mining rig with multiple (dual or even triple) Desktop and Server Power Supply Units (PSUs) and how to synchronize powering them on or off with one main button (on the motherboard, in our scenario).

I forgot to mention this in the video. for the HP 1200 watt PSUs, the following applies:

Input: 110V-240V
Max Output @ 110V-120V: 900W
Max Output @ 200V-240V: 1200W
Efficiency Rating: 80 Plus Platinum

i have 3 rigs with Dual PSU (an atx and a server PSU), but i have never used the sync plug on the breakout board. I had no idea how to until now. I have always just turned power on the server, then powered up the rig. Going to give this a whirl tonight. Is that plug the same as the plug that goes to a 3.5 inch floppy? pretty sure all 3 psu's have one hooked into a strip with 2 or 3 regular molex plugs. A year of mining and never saw this before. Thanks for teaching me something new.

Is it possible to connect 2 server PSUs with that technic ?

The blue means it is server networked managed psu. Just like the switched PDU, it can be remotely managed. Love your channel dude.

Can you the server psu with the breakout boards for an rtx 3080? was wondering because the breakout board only has 6pin connectors and the 3080 takes 2x 8pins. Would there be any problems using 2x 6pin to 8pin for one 3080?
