Best Garden Tractor Ever Made?

Im looking at one of these. Not sure about the hydrostatic control though. I have a 90’s Landlord 16 that has a hand control for the trans and it’s annoying on my hills. I like foot controls so I can quickly go back and forth or reverse if I get myself in trouble. This does look a bit quicker and easier to control.

I've also got a Simplicity with a tiller on the back, mine's a Yeoman 637 and is about half the size of your 7117, weighing in at just under 300 pounds. It's small and light enough that I don't mind the manual implement lift. My Gilson S-twin is a monster at almost 900 pounds, it has hydraulic implement lift and it would probably be impossible to move the tiller without it.

Keep that old iron running, they'll never make anything like it again!

These are some nice machines but I still firmly believe the best is still a John Deere 316 or 318. Ive got a 1978 316K that is a real working machine. These old machines regardless of brand are something special and should be kept going as long as possible.

There all good tractors in there own way .my 72 John Deere 112 electric lift the best. Had a safe trip all the way from Wisconsin to England 😅

Looks like a great tractor. Do they make Simplicity tractors any more? Are there dealers around Massachusetts?

Looks nice and heavy duty. I have a few garden tractors but only 1 with a tiller its a john deere 140. its hydrostatic too you need to have that for the tillers. Otherwise i prefer the gear driven ones for everything else, powerking makes a big heavy duty one

I have a 7117 with a snowblower unit on it. Recently it started surging moving forward. I don’t think I’ve ever changed the fluid or the filter on the transmission. I’ve got an instruction manual that I bought online but all of the photos in it are Carbon copied so it’s very difficult to see anything. Do you happen to have a video on how to change the transmission fluid on this reliable tractor?

Bolens had some good ones back in the day. The simplicity had a way higher top speed. Didn't care for that complex deck clutch on the simplicity.
