There’s a new feature in Adobe After Effects called Content-Aware Fill that allows you to remove anything from your shots fairly easily! It's pretty powerful, but if you’ve tried it you know that it doesn’t always work perfectly. In fact, it’s only in certain situations where it’s going to give you an acceptable result. A very nice job. The only other recommendation I would suggest is pre-denoising the clip/s, then reintroducing noise or grain after the FX have been done.
