Funny thing is, Tyler seems to kind of agree with Fantano nowadays. He talks about how he made Cherry Bomb during a time in his life when he was ”shifting” on MASSA on his latest record.

Cherry bomb isn't secretly genius guys. It was Tyler experimenting with a sound he'd soon refine and perfect in Igor. But it doesn't take long to realize the grating production is, in fact, grating.

Edit: tyler was mad cause anthony gave cherry bomb a 3/10 after 30 hours of the albums release. If anthony gave it a higher score then he wouldnt complain about it so yes its about the rating.

I never really understood cherry bomb as an album, but I like a lot of the songs. When I first started listening to tyler, it was all just a few songs from cherry bomb that I found on youtube.

Later when I listened to flower boy, it was the first time I had ever been blown away by an album. Still my favorite Tyler album

Tyler's bars really got layers to them. You listen to the song a second time hear something with double meaning that actually has triple meaning and go "OH FUCK!"

The problem with Fantano is that he’s just one guy, with his own music taste and opinion.

A 1 1/2 hour album leaves you 28.5 hours to do the rest of the work, 27 if you listen to it twice.
