I think it's funny, and also well deserved. Boomers have relentlessly mocked every generation after theirs, while refusing to engage in a discussion of how things are now. Rather than talk, they lecture or rant. Rather than listen, they lecture, rant, and tell you how things are going to be. So, once you figure out they're NEVER going to engage you in a civil discussion, and once you understand they will always turn around and deny their own boorish and bad behavior, all you can do is say, "Ok Boomer." Because, after all, it's so much nicer than saying, "Okay, you angry, aging Boomer."
