So before you begin building a wardrobe you love or immerse yourself into your style, it really helps to map out where you want it to go. And well, your personal style should be personal. I've found that this method (while may feel over the top at first) can give you a lot of clarity on what you are personally drawn to and help you see the common threads of your style and aesthetic.

Spectacular! Just what I needed since I am drowning in Kibbe, color analysis & trying to put it all together into a FUNCTIONAL wardrobe.

I've been kind of confused about my personal style lately between coming out of the pandemic, a career change, and trends around me shifting and changing. I've been thinking that my life needs now, my personality, current trends, and what looks good on me wouldn't come together. Going through your worksheets have helped put together how all of these different points can start to come together. It won't be easy to put together, but I'm taking that as a sign I'm finding the core of me and not just how my job or current trends say to dress.

“Yay” to part two of personal style! Love your videos! Your personality and suggestions, as well as your knowledge, combines information and fun! It really supports my thinking about my dressing habits! So helpful! Thank you!

I loved this approach and creating a "moodboard" was so fun! I realized there are three distinct styles I'm drawn to, and I can translate them to "party", "work" and "casual" styles which is absolutely amazing. Now I only need to realize how I can implement them... :, )

Wow I was really surprised at how cohesive my mood board ended up being! And it feels so much more reflective of me than the pinterest board I made of clothes I like

I searched for this vid for weeks (it just popped up today and I do not know how I did not have the mind to check all your vids)). I made my first style board during the winter and it is a great tool to dig into memories and causes. Going to work on your templates. I feel it's the way to bring things from subconscious into the life. It's so valueble to me, as I got lost among my classical upbringing, France and Arabia periods of life. I have a degree in English and French and in religious studies. I live in one of the biggest European cities in the world with my hus and 3 small kids. I like soft piano music, Le ptite prince and gold and ethereally long dresses. I am not sure with religion but am ready to stand by its moral and legal code. There is no ready esthetics to accomodate this mix.

I'd love a part two! I will say--one of the most helpful things for me (after the aforementioned Kibbe ID, color analysis, and Simon Doonan's hilariously zany pointers) was a guest post on The Lingerie Addict detailing personal style for one's underpinnings. My other source of advice: Alison Freer. Her remarks on having a primary as well as a secondary style are gold.

Loved this video. Thank you so much!

This is an amazing! Thank you so much for providing these worksheets and steps to finding our personal style! I have one question: for the 'History list' do we list down any style inspirations we saw when we were growing up up to the age of 18 or maybe 21 or do we also include anything from we saw in our 20s and 30s? Thank you!

Thank you for this!! It’s so eye-opening, especially your analogy of the personal style foundation map to the overall structure of a house.

This worksheet sounds really empowering! (It does tie back to in a way some things business brands do to find their visual style, especially if it's a very personal solopreneur brand.) I love how you're holding onto tools like Kibbe lightly enough and with the big picture in mind.

“You walked in. I woke up. I’ve never seen a pretty girl look so tough, baby. You got that look. Color you peach and black. Color me taken aback. Crucial. I think I want you.” - U Got the Look by Prince. I was three years old when this song was released. I wanted to be that girl when I grew up. Mission accomplished.
