In the late 90s still you could just walk into the Woolworth bldg and ride the elevator up to that now-penthouse floor. It was law offices and that kind of thing. There was also a men's room on the north side - old school, just 1 person could fit, and you felt completely alone on the whole floor. You could take a pee with an awesome view of Manhattan the short way through one of those tiny windows. I used to make it my ritual if I was in the nabe.
