How to make Chinese Egg Drop Soup.
Ingredients:
4 cups chicken stock
1/2 tsp. Sesame oil
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper or White Pepper
1/4 tsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Tumeric

In large pot simmer chicken stock and add sesame oil, salt, pepper, sugar and tumeric.

Whisk 3 tbsp. Cornstarch into half cup of water until completely dissolved and pour into soup.
Lightly whisk three eggs and pour slowly into soup.
Top with chopped green onions

I had strong food aversions as a kid (still do) and the ONLY thing I would eat on Chinese take out night at home was egg drop soup! My parents would get a quart of it and I would guzzle it down 😂 I remember it surprising my parents a little as our taste palettes are as white as our skin tone and the texture especially is pretty different than typical American chicken nugget/pizza/burger and fries crunchy foods.

My mom also makes egg soup but its a different recipe and she also adds the fake crab and corn in the soup
