She points out that research supports the use of rational and cognitive approaches in therapy. She also discusses the role of gratitude; and emphasizes the importance of unconditional acceptance of self and others.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. your questions Jeff to me are as important as any agreement... good questioning demands no answers... because the answers can flow from those questions...

Jeff... @22:36... this is one of your contributions I gather, because when I interviewed your husband some time ago, he talked of the need to avoid what he called awfulising.
Deb... well two sides of the same coin isn't it.

to me if we add the the two sides of a coin together they remain separate, getting close but out of sight... but if we times them together, by each other, then they both become the one... the two sides inflate each other... to become one without sides...

thx... great talk...when we question, what are we really questioning... are we questioning to find a truer truth... or are we questioning for an answer... or do we question the things that just don't seem to fit our world... our home...

if we have a jigsaw puzzle, (a picture of our world) and we can not seem to find a place for that last piece... what do we do... we see the picture but question why we can not find that final answer.

that final resting place for that last piece is unknowable... to me it can never be known by anyone...

Interesting about unconditional acceptance approach. It does not mean that if someone attacks you, you don't fight back.

The majority of pale-skinned Westerners seem *terrified* of emotional expression in general. Glad to know that not all of them are.
