It’s crazy and very interesting how Hong Shing has expanded. We used to drive all the way there from Markham for late night Chinese food back around 2014. Their food was always good and they’re always busy 🥰

So, i used to help at a Chinese wedding banquet, and real Chinese food is So different than what they serve at buffets and American Chinese restaurants.
Amazing looking meats and sauces. It always astounded me when each course was coming out.
This was in Kentwood Michigan at 1st wok's newer restaurant and banquet hall.
It was not my 1st rodeo. My 1st job was at Wing on lou. The family who owned it had a separate waking fridge and freezer with foods from their respective countries. I was 14.

Wow for 8 courses the portions of each course are great!!! Usually they give you two leaves a dot of sauce and a fingernail sized piece of food and call it a course!! Now this is a place I can get down with!
