The Apple Watch Ultra is a very expensive smart watch, coming in at around $1000. At first I though, how is this going to be better than the $500 Series 8? I was doubtful; BUT, here are 20 reasons why I won’t switch back to the Series 8.

I do all the same things with my Apple Watch 7, except sleeping because that’s when I charge it. The alarm when it’s on the charger is pretty ok, I saved a lot of money this way 😊

I like the extra battery life and this is the first watch that has a SIM, the fall protection, if I fall off a ladder or crash my bike is reassuring. I like the red watch face.

Hey Pete. Which Tesla unlock app are you using? I feel like Tesla had an Apple Watch app a couple years ago, but it stopped being supported. Would love to have that feature on my watch.

Most of these things Apple Watch Series 8 is also capable of. The only significant difference is just the batter life of the Ultra and maybe the Action Button. Other than that, it’s the same for non-hikers/swimmers, etc.
