Make Ice Cream Using a Ziploc Bag in 5 minutes - Homemade Ice Cream, No Fridge!

Forget the Ice cream Machine! I made homemade ice cream using a ziploc bag in 5 minutes. You don't need fridge or ice cream machine. This is instant ice cream using common things you can find in your house.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole Milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Items used to make the ice cream
2 Ziploc bags
4 cups Ice
1/4 cup salt

So I work with Elementary school children at a daycare and we just did this today. They shook it for over 20+ minutes and we couldn’t get it to go solid 😢 They still drank it cause it was very delicious and chilled, but it was more like whipped cream than ice cream. We followed the recipe exactly, so I truly don’t know what went wrong, but I digress. They still had a blast and loved doing it, so 10/10 recommend!

EVERYONE READ THIS: you can use butter 25% and milk 75% to form heavy cream! This way you can use stuff already on hand to not have to go out to buy heavy cream. everyone probably already has these 2 items on hand. milk is just heavy cream with lower butter fat so you add butter to make it become heavy cream like magic!

-grab a ziploc bag and pour the ice cream mixture in it
-close the bag and set it aside
-grab another ziploc bag and pour some ice
next add some salt 1/4 cup in the ice.
place rhe ice cream mixture onto the ice.
start shaking the bag
