I like this project because you show that it can be done with common tools most people already have at home.

Imagine humanity gets wiped out and a small colony emerged, then once they start to uncover about us in the future, they find this slide intact.

I worked at a semiconductor company for a few years and it felt pretty awesome to see this and know what steps were being done. I mainly worked in Photolithography, but was also decently well versed in plasma and chemical etching. The process shown in this video done again and again (plus a few ovens and implanters) is basically how semiconductors are made. Super cool stuff!

This isn’t a short. It’s a perfectly average length video with a great personality.

For a sec I thought these were clips from The Thought Emporium, but after checking your channel I find y’all just have the same sense of humor.

Can't wait for semi fabrication to get cheap enough for hobbyists. Nice work.

Honestly, this did more to explain how semiconductors are made than anything else I've ever watched lol

This is engineering at its finest. I work in photolithography in a semiconductor fab. Every so often, I'll find a guy getting electrocuted, or the state of Texas, or other little features that got shitposted onto the test keys and device ID boxes.
