When you look at a painting are you actually seeing the real color? To answer that, let's take a look at the electromagnetic spectrum.

Dear Life Noggin,
You might want to do a correction after reading this.
I have noticed this small detail that you did not include. It is that the primary colors taught in schools aren't actually a lie, but just the primary colors that are used in painting.
The subject is light, and our cones is divided in three groups: red, green, and blue. That is true.
But the primary colors of light are different from the primary colors of paint.
So, even if the primary colors of paint are not similar with the primary colors of light, the primary colors of paint is not a lie.
As you mix the colors with paint, you can see clearly that it follows the rule of the color wheel, but it is not the same with the colors of light.
I mean no offensive feelings or such, I just want it to be corrected for the sake of future viewers.

Can you do an episode explaining additive and subtractive primary colours in more detail? For example, mixing blue and yellow paint or looking through blue and yellow plastics (sweet wrappers) shows up green, so why is green primary?

Why do I have to go to school when Life Noggin exists? I took me 53 minutes in school to learn about this, and a 2 minute video for life noggin. We could have a 12 minute school day!

I love this channel because the videos are very informational and are also kind of fun! The cartoons and all the colors would probably attract some younger audiences as well as older ones.

Great video. I've been fascinated for years with the fact that the color of an object we see is actually the only color it is not.

My science teacher used this video to explain colors when we were learning about different kinds of waves
*To say she was of true culture is an understatement*

So in reality, colour does not exist and is simply a mechanism of our eyes/brain?

Interpreting the wavelengths.

You said that apple absorbs other colours and reflects red so does that mean the colour of light coming from the surface depends on its surface texture ? Please answer I am really confused 😐

If the cones are red, green and blue... Where do we get yellow from? It can't be made by those colour combinations.

How do you see the blind spot about the size of a quarter that our eyes pixel in. I believe it is located at the end of your hand if you are standing with your arms down and about 6 inches from your side.
