I am testing the hardware quadrature decoders on the Teensy 4.0 board in this video. There are two projects I am planning to use this for.
- First, an update to my Sin/Cos and Incremental Quadrature Encoder Tester
- Second, a more generic version of the "HP5508A interferometer display" replacement that can also accept homodyne interferometer inputs.

I would be very grateful if you can tell me the make and model of the scale you are using. Great work, I have just started using my teensy 3.6 commanding a servo drive (serial)

Thanks for the information.
I'm a noob to programming.
But I'm forced to take on this fork in the road.
I'm making a tubular linear motor.
I need to set up a drive for it to test my work.
I was looking at the foc control and stumbled on the teensy.
I need to run a linear encoder and was looking at both optical and magnetic.
Then there's the mosfet driver which I can't decide on.
Any advice would be welcome
