Can I just ask a question?

What did Ahsoka do to deserve a whole series to herself? Like correct me if I'm wrong, but we didn't hear a single mention of Ahsoka in the films, yet in he cartoons she's this central character or sorts. If she was THAT important, why wasn't she in AOTC or ROTS?

Nice response to the typical Ahsoka arguments! I'd still say having children as leaders in a war is a mistake. This isn't to excuse Ahsoka, but the Jedi weren't forced to place children on the front lines. Even if they are especially mature children, there's no reason other than absolute desperation to make padawans commanders, and the Republic wasn't absolutely desperate at the beginning of the war. But, as I said, this doesn't excuse Ahsoka. At 14, I wouldn't have done any better, but, then again, no TV shows have been made about me! That, I think, is the biggest problem. The show goes out of its way to celebrate and glorify Ahsoka's flaws. The show doesn't treat her as a child, but as a hero. We, therefore, must weigh her character as a hero and, unfortunately, she never rises above her childishness.

Anakin has been trained since he was younger as well and still grew to be impulsive and make constant moves against the Jedi. Many Jedi in the Order have distinct personalities and often break off from the traditional standard of what you would expect a more proper Jedi to be like Yoda or Mace. Thing is, your deconstruction of the age argument is faulty. It doesn't matter how much you bash deiscpline into a young child's head, their still going to find a way to disobey and make mistakes. If Ahsoka didnt make these mistakes then there would be no growth for her character and absolutely zero reason to believe she can go on to do what she does in season 7. You can dislike her all you want, but stop trying to act like you know more than you actually do.

I don’t know why this is again in the recommendations. But again - If you do not like the character, you will do it all, you will find a million reasons to say that he is bad and generally terrible. You're kind of a "writer!" Just think ... objectively.

As for Ahsoka - in subsequent seasons, yes, she makes mistakes and sometimes does not obey, but this happens many times less. Is this not character growth? As for the examples of Barry or Avatar - all people are different, characters too. Yes, she is impulsive, live with it. (One incidentally later turned to the dark side). I Understand that for certain reasons, you CAN hate her. But this is not an argument.

What the hell kind of argument is it that Ahsoka is a bad character because she starts out immature? That's kind of the whole damn point. Katara is a completely different character. Comparing their initial maturity levels when they undergo different character arcs makes no sense.

She was 14 when she first became Anakin’s padawan. Of course she is gonna be immature but as the seasons go along she becomes more and more mature and that’s why she is such a beloved character.
