Anakin managed to teach his final lesson by just being an absolute bastard until she realizes what a bastard he was and the only way out of the cycle of violence is to stop being a bastard. It’s like, even when your master is wrong, that’s still a valuable lesson to learn

When Anakin was surrounded by his loved ones he was kind and generous. But Anakin Skywalker in battle not only was a bastard he was a killer. THATS what he was TRYING to teach Osaka theres ALWAYS choices. Plus the Jedi were NEVER PERFECT. But now in death HE IS PERFECT. HES THE FORCE ITSELF. A MASTER of the Light and The Dark.

I'm only upset that I just now saw this short... I love how you highlighted the details of this awesome episode, especially the part about actually seeing the characters faces, I personally think that Hayden did a wonderful job in the prequel trilogy and now he's even better. It could've been better written and better developed to get to this point, but seeing Hayden again not only as Anakin but as a full power Vader was the best thing from Ahsoka, and the most interesting to watch

I love how you expanded on this scene. It brought a little tears for me seeing the clone troopers and the battle of death because we’re never gonna get any clone wars animation anymore. Bad bash was the last continent of clone wars and after seeing all the clone troopers go through just makes it more sad.

Exactly. The best piece of live action star wars in years! The moment ahsoka told anakin about how powerful and terrifying he turns out to be, anakin immediately switches tone by saying, "is that what this is about?" That to me is very clever writing. In that moment he knew she was struggling with identitying as his former student. Dave can write dude. Some of the best star wars content was made by him. Especially clone wars and rebels!

I think people watch this episode, and only remember the Anakin bits, but 80% of the episode is just shots of people going "We need to search here, and there! Search harder! Search lower! Mom cant you hear the lightsabers? Search with the force..."

The Anakin bits are pretty good, but the episode is like mostly nothing.

at this time in the episode, Anakin has become the master the prophecy talked about, he's become one with the force in a way only the chosen one could, completely understanding, accepting and mastering his light and his darkness, fully in control
