Oh! One last suggestion. I attach a bright neon color flag to my antenna so it can be seen when snow gets dumped on the van. Makes it easier to find my way back in a storm. Ive glued strips of reflective tape to the flag so it remains stiff AND makes super easy to find said flag/truck with a flashlight, even in darkest and worst storms

What I like mostly about this van, and what makes it different from the others, is the fact it is completely safe/ closed, so when you are inside, in the wild and unkonwn places surrounded with God knows which kind of threat, you can relax.

A reminder to treat your door seals with silicone spray or stick and tent zippers with wax. Nothing worse than being trapped inside and not being able to get out or in.

So let’s see… he is in a AWD camper with chains. He seems to be well stocked. He’s in a place where the plows come by. There are open facilities. He has heat and shelter. He has tools, shovels. Take a lesson in preparedness, enjoy your adventures. Be safe

I see a lot of channels use storms and weather as clickbait. Maybe a little rain or snow but not a blizzard or horrid storm they say in the titles. Yours was not clickbait! What a storm! Huge blizzard! Kudos! Loved the video. Thanks

Now it is August, the heat and humidity are literally killing me, so I watch wonderful videos of snow such as yours. But yours is truly the BEST!!!! Your personality, the easy-going way that you see things, the fun things you do...I see me 40 years ago before I got so sick. Keep going my friend!

FINALLY! A video that says "blizzard" ACTUALLY has a REAL blizzard in it.

That's a like, favorite, and subscription in my book.

Waxing your skies with an iron, 😊 nice.
One note to anyone who like to camp in the snow be careful running your car, it could asphyxiate you. Make sure your tail pipe is clear to get enough fresh air.
This was quite a storm.

I love our built out Ford van. It is our 4th build. My husband is a retired home builder so these have been fun for him. The sense of shelter anywhere you go is wonderful. Bed, food, toilet and even hot shower. We have traveled the USA in 5 or so trips. Am hoping for one more but cancer getting the better of me now.

WOW! The amount of negativity towards this young man is unbelievable. Have any of you haters seen his other videos? Most likely no! He is young and living HIS life, NOT YOURS. Plus, this is HIS HOME and has been for some time. He’s parked in a safe place and has everything he needs. He let’s his friends/family know where he is and he probably checks in although we may not see that part. But some of you are being so close minded and are immediately judging him when you don’t even know him or how he handles himself in these extreme conditions. Check out his other videos and hopefully you’ll think differently. He’s not out there harming anyone at all. Enjoy yourself to the fullest @TravelersTale! YOLO ✌🏽😎

Enjoy it. Many young people dont have the money to enjoy what you've got and many older people with the money don't have the stamina!

After watching this channel for a few years, I know that you love big snow storms. So, when I heard about the blizzard coming, I knew there was no chance you would miss this. I think the storm lived up to and more than expected!

You need some yellow or other color besides white tape on the upper part of your van so people can see it in the snow. You're doing what I've always dreamed of. Be safe👍

Nature's sounds have a therapeutic quality that soothes the soul and calms the mind. Whether it's the rhythmic crashing of ocean waves or the distant call of a lone wolf, each sound carries with it a sense of peace and grounding

I'll never forget, my cousin and I took amtrak through the Sierras and Cascades not this past winter but the one before and the snow was so deep. The conductor said it was as deep as 18 feet in some places. I remember a railroad crossing where the snow was so deep no car could have gotten through and the drifts were insane. Those atmospheric rivers the past two winters in the Sierra and Cascades have dumped a bonkers amount of snow. Really enjoyed this video of yours.

I would have gone for a bright RED 🟥 vehicle myself. I’d be worried about another vehicle seeing me camouflaged in the snow. 😳🤣
