Today is a Monday and it’s pouring outside. As a child I loved and listened to The Carpenters but not until today did I feel compassion for Karen Carpenter’s spiritual battles. She was given a wisdom to understand that we don’t fit because we don’t belong.This isn’t our home. Tragically she fell prey to the enemy’s tactics. There is consolation that we have her beautiful voice and her prayers for us all who feel those same blues. For now we’re here to seek Our Creator and show gratitude for His love for us. One day when He decides we will hear her again live. Now she sings happier songs for Our Savior. No more spiritual battles for Ms Carpenter. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.

I learned about The Carpenters because one of my Patients loved The Carpenters. He's diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease final stage, He was once a very talented and a well known Doctor in his time. Sadly we had to part ways cause there are things i want to do and places i want to explore. Hopefully he'll live a long and peaceful life ahead. I remember mapili sya sa taga pag alaga sa kanya but we got along so quickly and it melts my heart every time i see him smile and seems to forget about his worries. Oh God I miss Tito Ed so much. May God bless him.

There aren't enough good songs about depression. This is one of them. Somehow she was able to find some positives among the darkness.
God bless the Carpenters, some people say this is corny 70's music but I think they are afraid to feel.
