Always one of the greatest riffs of all time. RIP Scott Weiland. Great video.

That is such a great cover- really appreciate this so much as it makes playing this song so much easier. Great playing. Thanks!

That bass line is so aggressive, bro! Your performance in this cover is mad tight. Good job, man!

Besides the solo, this is probably one of the easiest rock songs to learn all the way through considering it’s the same riff through the whole song

Great side notes for tone/feel to the song. Great arrangement for the fills. It's surprisingly brutal to down pick this for 4.5 minutes especially when I almost never play with a pick! A band wanted to play this I may just play it with fingers and see how it goes to stay in time. Need to find some punk to practice bass pick. :(

Learn this by ear a few months ago. So much fun to play, and there's room for improv during the chorus and solo, so I went a little nuts there 😅

btw. nice tone. check out the Kramer Desciple or" D1" damn thing is amazing. very dynamic with 1 active emg pickup and sweet neck. 3 knobs .simple yet effective especially for 3hr sets. i could only stand hanging the Spectre for 10 min or so and arms went numb. but the Spectre sound SO F'N good! glad it's belt mounted now.

i play it with fingers. but my fingers are like piano hammers. i play many songs that "require " a pick like AIC Would but sound awesome if you live the riff. your version is tight and you "know" the song well. sounds .good. we are not recording but playing live. and my excuse for no pick is neck injury. can't hold a pic for long and it just goes flying so i power thru with what god gave me. it works, no complaints. i can emulate all the percussiveness of a pick but sometimes not the " scrape" a pick produces. i aint young and body took some hit's .i even had to develope and build a mount for my Spectre bass to mount on my belt. too heavy for my neck. then i found a Kramer Desciple. i swear the thing weighs 5 pounds if that. can play that one with a strap. keep rockin .keep this music alive, play live gigs and bring it back.

Nice video! Would just like to ask - if you record bass along a song, do you extract original bass line of the track somehow, or just play over it? I'm a beginner and struggling with the right level of bass when recording over original....thanks in advance for respond and keep rockin' dude 🫡 🤘

Yes Duff is a superb bassists of his generation! Jim Greszczuk! I'm also a bassists too but I don't play a 4-string bass I play a 7-string Ibanez BTB7E BASS GUITAR
