Fresh River Water gets DRAINED into the Pacific Ocean😱

I understand what you think is happening but this is something that happens here naturally just slow after heavy rainfall and the river is flooded. It slowly makes it's way to the ocean and gets bigger and bigger until all the flood water is gone. Once it stops and the river is back down to a healthy level, the ocean then fixes the beach over the span of a few days.

Guys, chill. It is all natural. It is a river that usually crosses the beach.
That is the mouth of the Waimea River on the north side of Oahu Island in Hawaii. The ocean waves carry sand up into a bar that blocks the river mouth, and the river water builds up until it overtops the sandbar. The flowing water erodes away the sand. The next storm blocks the river again.
All these guys are doing is cutting it loose when they are there to play in it. That reduces upstream flooding, as well.
They are not destroying the environment or permanently damaging the beach.
It's not illegal, or shouldn't be.
