How to Ollie On A Skateboard!

Definitely the most important trick in skateboarding. This is the start to learning every trick in the book.

It can take some time to get this trick down, so don’t give up if you can’t get it. Just keep practicing until you get it. The more you practice, the easier it will get!

It took me about a month to my first one, but a whole year to really understand it. Just don’t give up and you will get it!

You actually just told me what I was doing wrong

Something that has helped me and some of my friends tremendously is explaining that you want to make an upside down u with your lead foot. And don’t forget to jump towards the way your rolling if you’re moving. Gotta get that back foot up and out of the way so when your lead foot drags it up, the tail can come up as well.

A good pop and getting your back foot out of the way so you can get max pop helps too.
