I personally love the sound quality of DJI! It might not be the richest, but it’s clear and natural, and its convenience is unbeatable.

They all sound good to me. And if your recording in 32 bit float, can't you just edit the sound to whatever it is your looking for from your audio? Since I use both the DJI Pocket 3 and Action 5 Pro, the wireless USB connection of the Apple mics is the most important feature for me. Great testing and review, I don't think you can go wrong with any of these mics.

the Saramonic Ultra sounds the BEST and the DJI Mic 2 is the worst

I went to Amazon, and this Saramonic looks like the Ultra3. I see there is an Ultra4 now. This would be my first upgrade since vlogging with the GP media mod mics for a couple years now. Is the Ultra4 just as good?

I'm looking for lowest noise floor and best sound quality on lavalier mic to PC via usb recording. Currently using saramonic blink500 prox, and with this multiple DA converstion, it sounds much worse compared to 50 USD behringer xlr mic (both connected to the same audio interface). Which one would you recommend? on paper saramonic ultra beats rode hands down. (90 vs 72 dB)

Thanks for this comparison. For quality of sound, the new Sennheiser Profile Wireless easily surpasses the Rode Wireless Pro and the DJI Mic 2. Two transmitters with the option to plug in a lavalier and one receiver. It doesn't have 32 bit float, but I don't consider that a minus when I hear how warm, clear and present the voices are. You should check it out.

Great review. The Saramonic sounds very good. Better than the DJI. But you're right, the Rode may be the one to beat.

I dont like any of those...just way too big...I want a discreet wireless mic that is barely noticeable...I went with the Hollyland Lark M2S as they are size of a shirt button and a little post audio tweaking and it's just as good as these
