Machine Learning in ArcGIS Pro (Part 5 of 6): Support Vector Machine Algorithm - GIS Master Class
Показать описание
This video is part five of a six video Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Master Class series. In the series, I will teach you about Machine Learning in ArcGIS Pro GIS software including discussion of what is machine learning?; what can you do with machine learning in GIS?; a brief tour of machine learning in ArcGIS Pro, and a complete machine learning workflow.
All of these concepts are applied using a hands-on GIS laboratory using a real-life disaster management case study that I demonstrate Machine Learning using ArcGIS Pro GIS software. Instructions for the GIS laboratory are available for free to download from this link:
GIS Master Classes are designed for students with a serious interest in learning and building advanced skill sets with GIS to advance educational, career, and/or research interests.
The full six part video series:
Part 1:
Introduction to topics in the video series: what is machine learning?; what can you do with machine learning in GIS?; a brief tour of machine learning in ArcGIS Pro, and a complete machine learning workflow, and introduction to the hands-on GIS laboratory using a real-life disaster management case study of using machine learning to analyze imagery from 2019 Hurricane Dorian.
Part 2:
What is Machine Learning?; What can you do with Machine Learning in GIS? - prediction, classification, and clustering; Brief tour of machine learning in ArcGIS Pro and machine learning tools that can do prediction, classification, and clustering.
Part 3: Overview of a complete machine learning workflow; Beginning of hands-on demonstration of the video series GIS laboratory exercise: Getting started, Task 1 – Download datasets, Task 2 – Add datasets.
Part 4: Continuation of hands-on demonstration and walk through of video series GIS laboratory exercise: Task 3 – Load Classification Schema and Create Training Samples
Part 5 (this video):
Continuation of hands-on demonstration and walk through of video series GIS laboratory exercise: Task 4 – Run Support Vector Machine Algorithm to Classify the Image; Task 5 – Assess the Classification
Part 6:
Conclusion of hands-on demonstration and walk through of video series GIS laboratory exercise: Task 6 – Assess the Classification: Compute Confusion Matrix; video series conclusion and summary.
