Thanks again! I started the approach equalizing with base 4 instead of base 2. It's a shorter wat to the same final result.

I solved it a small bit differently but I still got the same solution. Thanks for these videos, they make me better at math

Take log (base 4) of both sides and get 16^x = (2^x)*2 [because log (base 4) of 4 is 1 and (base 4) of 16 is 2] thus 2^(4x) = 2^(x+1) and 4x=x+1 and x=1/3.
