Our NEIGHBORS Called The City On Our Chickens! Chicken Coop Move/Rebuild!

Our city didn't like our chicken coop, so we had to move it and rebuild it. This was our mistake! When we moved here the chickens were already here so we never looked into specific rules for chickens and we were breaking them from the start. Rules are rules so we did what we had to do to follow them!!

This popped up in my feed. Probably because I watch chicken videos. The saying “you might be a redneck” came to mind when you were pulling the chicken house with your car🤣 I love that you just took care of business instead of getting on here bashing your neighbors for calling on you. Good job👍🏻

I also use cardboard in roost for floor when it gets dirty I pull it out and throw in compost worms love iti put cedar chips in bins for eggs laying

Man my neighbor has chickens and a rooster as well and they are very quiet. Well not the rooster but the rooster is not as bad as you'd think. He does crow off and on throughout the day but I kinda like it and I only really hear it if I'm outside or in the living room. I'd never complain to the city about him (I know where I'm at you're allowed to have chickens but no roosters). Some people have nothing better to do than complain unfortunately.

City ordinances are ridiculous and neighbors who complain will not be getting eggs when the SHTF in neighborhood. Northern Utah here and I’m out. Headed to remote Alaska. Finally had it with all the Karen neighbors who think they need to tell everyone what to do. We can’t even collect rain water here! 🤬🤯🤦‍♀️

It seems so silly to make you move it. It changes almost nothing for your neighbors. I think they may have wanted the chickens gone. I'm so glad you didn't get rid of them.

Maybe your neighbors could have come over and helped you move it since they didn't want it where it was that would have been a neighborly thing to do, and, no eggs for them!
