UPDATE!!!! A very kind viewer made an instructional for proper use for us! Ya dont know what you dont know, i appreciate @Desaundrea for jumping in to help where i fell short! Here’s the link!

Today we’re trying out the Mia secret UV monomer. It was interesting to say the least. Below is the link for those interested. Use at your own discretion.

Stay tuned for the Giifnont Brush review, my marvel series, and the budget cordless drill, as well as many more giveaways!

@Desaundrea was kind enough to help us out with a better instructional with this particular products bead ratio! Here’s the link to her video

I love it. So glad i can use it in the house.. 60 sec cure..easy application..doesnt set until cure. More acrylic, less monomer. Love it.

To anyone watching this in 2023: this is odorless monomer which means it is oil based. This also means you HAVE to use a dry bead and let the monomer do the job and absorb into the bead. You also need to use a dry brush to pat and move the beads. Too wet you end up with those little jelly beads that she has in this video

You covered all my questions like I was asking them in real time. 😢❤❤❤ so perfect thank you so much for this video. I’m subscribed now. 😁💪💪

I have is monomer I purchased 2 years ago and it sits in my cabinet cause I definitely didn't like how it performed. Thanks for sharing. They should have more instructions and information about this product than there is out there. Especially for the price point.

I’ve been curious about this for a while… glad you reviewed it!

Not to bad burning in the led light but definitely needs cured or it'll be rubbery and peel off during filing

This is cool, I’ve never seen this before. Kind of like an acrylic into polygel hybrid system. I guess there are some trade offs though with the acrylic becoming gelly like in the monomer. Does the acrylic harden slowly or become gel like before curing or only harden when it’s cured under the lamp? Thanks, this was interesting 🤔

KRISTI, WHERE CAN I PURCHASE YOUR PINK NAIL HOLDER.

I think I seen that’s it’s jelly because the monomer has to go in something dark. If it’s in a clear container the air oxidizes it & you get that jelly consistency.

Great to see you back lovely. Hope all well with you and yours now . That don't look great tbh 😕. I've seen it online but never knew anyone
Use it xx 😘

I think the jelly thing happened because the monomer had some residual acrylic in it and was exposed to UV light

So happy your back I’ve missed your video girl🥰

9:29 The same thing happened to me. My container had like this. Jelly gelatinous substance in it and I think it's from the possibly the acrylic getting into it. Not sure

Never heard of a UV monomer. Seems weird to work with. The concept of curing it makes it seem like you could just work with a polygel instead. 🤔

I've been trying to use odorless monomer & it's kicking my butt. I hate it

Hey guys! This is the monomer I pretty much learned how to do acrylic nails with, and not regular monomer cause I live with sensitive family. So a few things about this from what I found out. I came across a video I think by Kristina kourture making her own monomer? I know Susie mail education commented on it 😂 but either way based on that video and Susie’s comment I got an idea. I mixed gel base coat and acetone together and got this pretty much. I didn’t play with ratios or anything just one time mixing together and it didn’t perform as good as the Mia secret (obviously since I’m just guessing over here lol) but it smelt the exact same! Which once I got the Mia monomer I didn’t even realize it smelt the same. All I knew was when I mixed the gel and acetone I hated the same! And then I tried the Mia one when I got it and after
a bit of thinking and then being triggered by the same to horrible nail flashback it hit me. Sorry if this comment is all over the place but i wanted to share my knowledge and I’m not the best at getting my thoughts and voice out there. And also I found curing isn’t a 100% necessary, like do one coat, and then cure that, and after that you don’t need to cure it for some reason? I noticed it was pretty much becoming dry while I was working it(acrylic powder I tried with it, mia secret, kiara sky, glam and glitz, cacee and a few amazon dip brands)

It seems like the monomer is breaking down the acrylic into its gel form so it can be cured if you know what I mean but to much of a pain for me I I would just use gel/polygel tyfs 😘😍
