I just watched the video and since I made a force lightning effect myself (have a look if you like), I just wanted to add a bit:
Generally, a great video! I really like how your effect holds a lot of weight! The background is stunning and the lightning effect is also really good.
I suggest to track the finger tips and make the lightning effect start there (like in Str wars) not from the palm.
