I am 33, and I just rewatched this for the first time in YEARS. This show was extremely ahead of its time. The humor is spot on and even though I know I the story line, it still kept me captivated. Love this show. 🎉❤

just finished watching this show for the first time, it’s so good!! it’s the perfect mix between mature and childish! like most teen shows about high school are all the way kid oriented and they don’t talk about sex and other stuff like that, this one talks about what really happens in high school! perfect show.

I'm 26 and to this day awkward is my comfort show I loved it so much when I was 16 and even more when I rewatched after at 23 because I was just as messy as Jena in season 3 and I relate so much to her.

I started watching this show when I was 15 years old. I was the same age as the characters, so it always felt like I was going through high school with them. The season they went to college was the same time I went to college and never got finish this show. I just found it on Prime and rewatched the entire season and finally got to see the finale at 27 years old!! This truly was one of the greatest shows! We absolutely need a “Where they are now” season or even just an extended episode. SOMETHING PLEASE!!

I just finished the show. Jenna was heading into her sophomore year of college, I start my sophomore year of college in less than 2 weeks. So the Highschool stuff just ended for me and it all hits closr and aligns almost perfectly with my timeline

Just watched it again for like 15th time. I'm 42. But it was high school just the same. Also, I was 17 and pregnant, so Jenna's mom's story hits home alot. Growing up with your oldest.. not getting the college experience till I was in my 30s and 40s. Team Matty always. I've watched it with my kids now also.

I'm 30 (flirty and thriving) and I am on the final season of Awkward. I'm not scrolling nor watching the interview - just came here to say that while Luke is a sweet (yet slightly pretentious) character, season 5 is almost wasted on luke and jenna. I would rather watch Matty and Jenna netflix and chill and throw jake apology surprise parties cause the cast is so fun to watch, as a group. It's also very cool to watch Matty and J's chemistry thru their ups and downs. It feels so natural 🥰 I'm gonna miss them all so much ❤‍🩹
