What works for me is a consistent bedtime. It's really hard to keep consistent but when I do I notice I end up waking up right before my alarm.

Don’t hit the snooze button on the alarm and leave your alarm somewhere where you have to get up to turn it off

A good morning for me starts with a good bedtime routine. Do something relaxing the last hour before you go to bed, and don't allow distractions or stress into that space (turn your phone off if necessary). I am a full-time teacher and have to be out the door very early for a 1-hour commute, so my "early morning routine" means washing my face with cold water and brushing my teeth immediately upon waking up. It helps me shake that sleepiness and is the "first step" towards getting my day started. Makes taking the next steps easier!

I think it is all about training your circadian rhythms and having an environment that is setup to ensure good sleep quality.

When I’m waking up with coffee I have an alarm that goes off that says time to work out. I never want to do it. But I start my favorite energizing playlist and turn it on real loud, and that convinces myself to do it.
