I don’t think Tobey Maguire really knows how much this trilogy truly means to, not just Spider-Man fans, but to those who’ve grown up on these films since 2002. I still remember my first Christmas gift I remember getting was Spider-Man 1 on DVD and my first movie I ever saw in theaters was Spider-Man 2 with my father and best friend when we were both 6. We both saw Spider-Man: No Way Home Thursday night opening weekend back in December and seeing Tobey again on the big screen again, it felt like seeing our old childhood friend again. I hope Tobey understands how beloved he’ll always be to us 90s/2000s kids!
