The Master Chef yet again gives a lesson that is something reachable to any person, even if they have limited means. This is harder to do than requiring students to have a full kitchen with everything, and access to every kind of ingredient. His engriedient is love here!

Jacques, some of my most wonderful memories of my mother are the 2 of us watching you cook on television and then trying your recipes. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
I remember one particular episode where you were cooking sugar and your dipped your fingers in water & grabbed the bubbles of molten sugar to test what stage you were at. We both were amazed.

I love making omelettes for my friends and they always say two things: I didn't know eggs could taste so good and where did you learn this? I owe it to Jacque. Watching him and Julia cook on PBS as a child gave me a passion to cook and showed me how food brings people together. What a beautiful man he is, so full of love and kindness.
