Spot On. Don't show compassion, compassion is a form of ENABLING. And we need to collectively STOP ENABLING ABUSERS!!! They already have their mommy and daddy usually ENABLING their abuse!!! Mommy and daddy already show their abusive grown children enough "COMPASSION".

I keep my ex in my prayers as I know he is sick. But it IS A CYCLE that must be broken. Compassion is dangerous and a trap for victims. I still struggle with it. Even after being put through HELL by him.

I completely agree. I'm tired of feeling bad for the one that totaled out my life, my children, grandchildren, friends, finances, stability, and anything else that he could have affected. I'm struggling to heal... he's moved on to the next victim. He doesn't need my pity. That is his forte. To seek and destroy. With the help of his toxic family. My mom and dad as well as my sister are narc.people and we were 4 people in our family.They intentionally abuse you, destroy you so that you can become nothing and nobody and they will continue to take control over your life. I hate them. They stole almost 31 years of my life. All those years I have been completely broken and I thought I was the problem. I always felt like a bag of garbage. The amount of shame that I felt was tremendous😢😢😢Now I am struggling with having no contact with them. Because I still have compassion for them. I do not know when this stops
So nobody can tell me to have a compassion for my predators.
