Started selling cars three years ago and have made six figures ever since. I love selling cars. And I do it with integrity and not slimy sales tactics. Which makes it even better.

People look down on me because I’m a bartender at 33 but I make 125 to 200k a year bartending at the airport. You can make good money in all types of sales.

Thanks bro, I’m 37 just lost my 3 year job at FedEx Ground due to managements unorganized ways and scheduling errors and negligence on their part and I literally just filled out an application for sales consultant at a dealership 5 mins walking distance from my house. The requirements don’t even say I need a drivers license like most of those type positions that I have seen posted and all my other qualifications and retail sales experience match up, I truly believe your video was a sign from God to purse this with all I’ve got

As a minor professional athlete during Covid when most sports teams weren’t playing I needed to do something to make money for my family. While training in the early morning I sold cars from 12-6 at a local dealership having no prior experience or knowledge in sales or the auto industry. I made $150, 000 in 8 months and loved my co-workers. When COVID restrictions lifted and I went back to being a professional athlete the dealership kept me in a part time remote position and has continued to treat me like family. There are bad dealerships out there, but the blanket stigma about the job simply isn’t true. I’m blessed to have fallen on hard times and found some great people and great opportunities.

I tried selling cars in my early twenties. I had just gotten out of the military and was trying to find my way. It was truly the hardest job I’ve ever had. I was at the dealership by 8am Monday-Saturday and rarely ever left before 10pm. We had a flat commission of $250 a car new or used didn’t matter. I was lucky to sell 2 cars a week. I was horrible and nearly starved. Only one salesman ever really got sales because he was the hometown salesman. Everyone knew him. He felt sorry for me and gave me some overflow at a split which saved me most weeks. Never again.

The money may be good, but I can’t ever justify being a drain to society like that. Like they’re just unnecessary middlemen.

Love you’re attitude and highlighting how car sales helped you out instead of talking shit to whoever made this comment. Keep that charisma brotha!

What a valuable lesson this man has learned

Anyone who says that about car sales doesn’t understand the first thing about what sales should be

I am 37 and been in sales for nearly all of my post college career.

Good for you! I got a degree in International Management. Turned out, I hated management. I became a salesperson in 1980 and made more money than I ever would have in corporate management. Sales positions are hard work. If you're willing to put in the effort and are flexible, you can make lots of money.

Last car salesman I dealt with was literally a criminal, a thief. He stole from me, but I got my money back by threatening to go to the state's attorney

just a piece of advice, youre still young and brighter future is ahead of you, dont nail down so hard on other brand, just promote what you have now coz nobody knows soon youll be crossing on other lane like japanese or european brands that might give you better opportunity. goodluck and be better and better each and everyday.
