I've been staring at various REF and N/A errors all morning, but the 'trim' code fixed it - thank you so much!

Thanks a lot, By you saying don't leave anything blank solved a lot of problems, it just means I cant leave lines black to add more in the future and will have to add them later as i need them

The white space gave me a hint on solving this for my sheet, I was having the issue where the number format was automatic on one sheet, and plain text on the other, they both had to match up in order for vlookup to find the key value.

Thanks, that was super helpful, needed to know how to make N/As blank as they were breaking my SUM formula lol

Thanks for your help that work well. Do you know if its possible to replace error in data validation list by blank. Because I tried to find solution but not yet find it.

Any idea what's causing the N/A in this case? Function is =LOOKUP(C2, ChkBal, ChkDates). The value in C2 is populated from the named range ChkBal, but the lookup function reports the value isn't found.

How to deal with missing zeros in some numbers when entering data from a website into Google sheet?

I try to import data from a web page into google sheets with the importxml function and sometimes it gives me a normal value in the cell and other times (without changing anything) it gives me #N/A. What can I do? Thanks

So, I'm trying to create a table where, if I select something from a dropdown menu, it auto-populates values in the corresponding cells below the drop down menu. However, every time I put in the vlookup formula and enter all the values, it keeps giving me the #N/A error. I've tried everything in your video, but it keeps giving me the "Did not find value in VLOOKUP evaluation". I've tried searching online for suggestions on how to fix it, but it still keeps giving me the same error. I'm at a loss as to what to do. Is there anything you can suggest to help fix it?

...I broke the VLookup just from swapping columns around...
I didn't know I must have the same column order as the range.
